DEKA introduced the Long Pulse Nd:YAG laser for hair removal in 1998, and the first pulsed light system with UPL Technology (U-shape Pulsed Light) in 2001. These two systems have been combined in the Synchro HP, the only platform in the world that combines three laser sources (Long Pulse Nd:YAG, Er:YAG and Q-Switched Nd:YAG) with nine UPL handpieces.
