When purchasing a pre-owned laser, the most important thing to consider is professional medical or cosmetic laser training!

Training is often forgotten when doing all the research to try and find the right used cosmetic laser or IPL device. It is forgotten even more when trying to negotiate a price. This is when things can go terribly wrong. Most companies,used cosmetic laser dealers, or used cosmetic laser brokers that offer used lasers or IPL devices have limited or no training at all. If a staffer burns, blisters or hyper-pigments, a patient could potentially incur a permanent scar. The two or three thousand dollars that you saved in negotiating the price of the pre-owned laser is now gone. The legal fees alone could reach into the hundreds of thousands of dollars, potentially putting you out of business, or even causing you to lose your license altogether. We have the ability of training your staff in many different ways with either hands on training or home training on the Internet with certificates upon completion.

Many of the courses have CME credits for the staff. Proper training will get you better results as well, and not a bad reputation in your geographical araea by not getting good results. Again, proper training is the most important decision when purchasing a pre owned laser or IPL device and buying a system that is the right wavelength for the skin types of your patients.
